There Were Two Brothers
This is a folk song I composed about the Wright Brothers' hunger to fly. This song is dedicated to the visionaries among us - Stewart Brand, Joan Baez, Michael Lang, Steve Wozniak, Esther Dyson, Phillip Torrone, Brewster Kahle, Vint Cerf and Googlers near and far. We must all feel that hunger to fly in order to reach our goals.
In the folk song tradition, feel free to add your own verses to this song when you're singing it. Go read a book or two about the Wright Brothers, too. I should have mentioned their mom in this song. Should have done that.

I ought to mention I'm a huge fan of folk musician Phil Shapiro, of Ithaca, New York. He's far more talented than I am --- and I'm quite happy to share a name with him. Visit his web site at http://www.shapiroandshore.com/
For more folk music, visit http://www.folkalley.com You spend a little time listening to those songs, you'll be composing your own songs before you know it.
